Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Train new kitchen staff on procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with management in day to day activities
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hotel environment.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent leadership skills, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among staff.
