We are seeking a dedicated Fryer to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of fried foods, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Duties
Prepare and cook various fried items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with health standards.
Help train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques and safety practices as required.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving food preparation or cooking.
Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy restaurant setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality meals.
