Your Role:
Deliver engaging, face-to-face tutoring sessions in
Maths and English
for Primary School students
Create supportive and enjoyable learning experiences aligned with the
Northern Ireland Curriculum
Track student progress and tailor your approach to their individual needs
Collaborate with parents and fellow tutors to ensure student success
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
A minimum of a
Bachelor's degree
At least
1 year
of teaching or tutoring experience
Strong understanding of the
Primary (KS1 & KS2) curriculum in Northern Ireland
A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping children thrive
Excellent communication skills and a caring, friendly attitude
Dependable, professional, and passionate about making a difference
Preferred:
Teaching qualification
(e.g. PGCE, QTS)
Experience working with children with
additional learning needs

will be part of the application process
Tutors should be willing to commit to the role for
at least one year
All sessions are
face-to-face
at our
Carrickfergus Hub

self-employed
role
Key Details:
Pay
ranges from 20 to 30 per hour, depending on the level and type of lesson--whether one-to-one, group sessions, home visits, or sessions held at our Carrickfergus Hub. Further details will be discussed during the interview.
Expected hours:
4 - 25 hours per week
Schedule:
Flexible - weekdays and weekends available
