We are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join the quality team in Aston Manor, Tiverton. Reporting to the Quality Manager, as a Lab Technician the successful candidate will ensure the quality of drinks produced conform to Aston Manor specifications.

If successful, you will ensure all tasks performed are to the set standard expected by the department and that defects and faults are reported promptly to minimise disruption to lines. You will also ensure work areas are kept clean at all times. Applicants should be comfortable working alone as this will be a requirement at times, but also be happy and supportive in a team environment.

We are looking for someone who can work at a rate that helps the packaging lines maintain a continuous flow of production, ensuring tests are carried out in good time and in an efficient and accurate manner, and advising other departments so adjustments can be made to minimise downtime.

The successful candidate will have a scientific degree or A Level equivalent within this field. Enjoy working within both a factory & laboratory environment. All training, clothing and protective equipment will be provided.

This role is working a set early shift, 32 hours per week in the following pattern

Saturday - 06.00 to 16.00

Sunday - 06.00 to 12.00

Monday - 06.00 to 14.00

Tuesday - 06.00 to 14.00
