Job Description
Established in 1986 Kirk Craig is a leading independent engineering Company specializing in Physical Security, Products. Kirk Craig is a manufacturer, installer and maintainer of roller shutters, industrial doors, gates ,traffic barriers and security steel door sets.
Due to our continued success Kirk Craig are looking to recruit a Labourer /Fitters Mate to work alongside the Installation and Service engineers for an immediate start.
Kirk Craig will provide on the job training both in house and externally.
This opportunity will give you the option to progress in Kirk Craig to become a Installation Engineer if you should wish. Further advancement in the Company.
Skills & experience you will gain include:-
The assistance with the installation and repairs of all types of industrial door/roller shutters.
The assistance with the planned maintenance of all type of Industrial doors/shutters.
The assistance with the installation of steel doors.
The assistance with reactive call outs and required to work on a call out rota system (call out bonus applies).
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Needs to be capable of manual work, lifting and physical duties. Will be professional and friendly and approachable to customers. Ability to work on own initiative. Complying with statutory Health & Safety obligations at all times. Comply with our ISO and Company Procedures.A CSCS card is required.
Able to pass a DBS check (for security purposes). IPAF would be an advantage but not essential PASMA would be an advantage but not essential. Eligibility to pull a small trailer. An advantage but not essential. Job training will be given.Responsibilities
Assist skilled fitters in various tasks, including assembling and installing components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety regulations, including holding a valid CSCS card. Operate tools and equipment safely, ensuring proper handling and storage

A call out bonus will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
