We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in financial management and reporting tasks, contributing to the overall success of the accounting department.
Duties
- Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft for financial data entry and analysis.
- Support senior accountants in financial accounting processes and accounts payable duties.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Gain exposure to mentoring opportunities to enhance accounting skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software like Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft.
- Knowledge of financial services and principles of financial accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Previous experience or academic background in accounting or finance is desirable.
