As a Land Officer, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver the required land rights on our Major Infrastructure Projects.


You will be part of a diverse lands team providing knowledge on land rights, acquisitions and you will be supporting the management of the DCO process and associated workstreams.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating our suppliers on our Major Infrastructure Project workstreams Supporting the team in the delivery of our Land Rights Strategy across a range of major projects Accountability of our land access (survey access) workstream, being the key interface between the supplier and National Gas Transmission Supporting and engaging with stakeholders and affected parties Supporting the reporting on key milestones, deliverables, risks, opportunities and all financial matters

About you

The skillset and experience required for this role are:

Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, grantors and other third parties Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge and willingness to learn key legislation for major infrastructure projects (DCO, CPO's, CRO's, TCPA) Desirable to be MRICS/AssocRICS or working towards Knowledge or awareness of the Planning Act 2008, Compulsory Purchase Act 1965, Gas Act 1986 and Pipelines Act 1962 Previous involvement with DCO's and CPO's and their processes Valid UK driving license
