The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape/ Architectural Technician to join our successful Landscape Architecture team, based in Edinburgh.

In your role at Ironside Farrar you will provide technical design and drawing/ graphics assistance, to support and illustrate the work of our Landscape Architecture community. You will be both office and site based, involved in the preparation of graphics, technical drawings, contract documentation and learn/undertake contract administration and supervision of projects in construction.

You will have the opportunity to use a range of latest industry digital software to produce documents, models and drawings, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, InDesign, Affinity, SketchUp and Photoshop.

There will be opportunities and support given for career development, including routes to professional chartership.

About You:

You will be organised, ambitious and enjoy working as part of a team. Prior office/ site experience in a technical role will be of advantage. You will be familiar working with office systems with ability to work to deadlines, efficiently produce a high standard of drawings, graphics and presentations using digital software.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and hold a valid full UK Driving license.

Training will be provided on specialist software, but it would be advantageous for you to have prior experience of software including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, InDesign, Affinity, SketchUp and Photoshop.
