Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and technical drawing, with proficiency in various design software. This role involves collaborating clients, & design teams to create technical drawings that meet project specifications. The successful applicant will be integral to the design process, ensuring that all designs adhere to relevant regulations and standards.

Duties

Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans using software such as AutoCAD. Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including schematics and system designs. Conduct site visits to gather information for design development and ensure compliance with design intent. Review designs for accuracy and adherence to building codes and regulations. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions. Maintain organised records of all drawings, models, and project documentation.

Requirements

Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD. Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and materials. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. A relevant degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome recent graduates as well. Must have good knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Pay: 27,000.00-36,000.00 per year
