Summary

North Hill Gardens is seeking a skilled

Landscape Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency across our landscaping projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for construction and landscaping.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects. Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures. Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability from a financial perspective. Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate project specifications. Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement agreements. Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in the selection process. Maintain accurate financial records for all projects. Provide regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and variances to stakeholders. Lead monthly applications, project management, and procurement processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in landscape architecture or construction Strong understanding of cost control methodologies and quantity surveying techniques. Excellent analytical and numerical skills Proficient in quantity surveying software and Excel for estimating and reporting. Strong communication and negotiation skills Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards is advantageous.
