Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment and computer systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand tools and computer hardware. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret schematics, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software. Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to conduct repairs and installations. Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to assist in the repair process. Conduct computer networking tasks, including setup and configuration of network systems. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes and equipment functionality. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Experience working with schematics for both electrical and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Understanding of computer networking principles, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively is essential.
