Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Working alongside the materials supervisor, this position primarily operates and maintains the Amada laser CNC machine. Select and set-up the lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Manage and maintain files to ensure matching revision levels at all time. Monitor fill level of chiller system and process gases, liaise with materials supervisor when stocks need replenishing. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on the machine and equipment as required. Perform all dimensional inspections. Detect, report and quarantine all defective materials. Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all company safety rules and legislation at all times. Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat, tidy and organized.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

IOSH or basic health & safety certification (preferred). Lean or continuous improvement training (advantageous).

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 14.45 to 01.00 (39 hours per week)

Pay Rate: 16.86 plus a 1

5% shift allowance when working on the applicable shift times
