We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and possess mechanical knowledge to operate laser cutting machines effectively. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand tools, and a solid understanding of basic mathematics for precise measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools for grinding, assembling, and finishing components as required. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in tooling setup and adjustments for various projects as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery safely. Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to grind, assemble, and fabricate components according to specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
