. In this role, you'll build, service, and repair our cutting-edge laser scanners--key products that help some of the world's biggest names in automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing achieve outstanding precision.
You'll work closely with our engineering and quality teams, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance
quality, efficiency, and delivery
across our operations.
What You'll Do
Assemble, fit, and test high-technology laser scanner products
Verify kit completeness against Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Build and integrate sub-assemblies using detailed engineering drawings
Align and test mechanical and electronic components
Oversee and authorise factory repairs and calibrations
Provide warranty and service support for returned scanners
Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet stringent standards
Perform electrical assembly and fault finding
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues
Train and support other colleagues
Offer technical support to LK Laser Scanner Service teams worldwide
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a team player with strong practical skills and a proactive attitude. You should have:
A recognised
electro/mechanical qualification
Proven experience assembling electro/mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings
Sound troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Basic computer literacy and experience using
ERP/CRM systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A focus on meeting
quality standards and production deadlines
Knowledge of
metrology
--helpful but not essential
