Operative

Mission

Laser/Press Brake Operators of LNS Turbo UK Ltd are responsible for carrying out all functions relating to the safe and efficient running of the laser cutting machines, minimizing downtime, and production of parts thereon to company-specified quality standards and pace of work, dealing with and providing associated documentation.

Your Responsibilities

Process
Laser Cutter

Programming & running of the laser to ensuring high material utilization, efficiency and meeting required output levels at the highest quality. Loading/unloading of sheet steel/cut parts (including use of an overhead crane). Daily, weekly maintenance of the machine including proactive reporting of faults to minimize downtime. Control of related gas consumables including storage, inspection, maintenance Accurate recording of output hours, wastage, quality documentation.
Press Brake Set up of machine and forming of parts to engineering drawings, for both internal or external clients.
Working inline with quality standards, and high efficiency. Daily, weekly maintenance of the machine including proactive reporting of faults to minimize downtime.Quality Ensure all products are manufactured in line with company standards on quality. Liaise with supervisors and other departments as necessary to ensure right-first-time delivery. Proactively highlight any quality issues to the appropriate person to ensure swift resolution. Lead by example to create a culture of customer focus and the manufacture of exceptional quality products.
Environment Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed by yourself and others within your area.
Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, with due regards to Health and Safety legislation and company practices. All duties to be carried out utilizing safe working methods and appropriate PPE, with due to regard to theHealth and Safety, COSHH and other relevant legislation.
Other

Attend training organised by the Company in-house or off site. Maintain confidentiality regarding Company and customer products, At all times present a professional image in line with Company standards. Any other duties within the capabilities and training of the individual in line with the needs of the
Company.
