The Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our in-house team. The role involves the daily operation of laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and uniforms, ensuring everything is cleaned to a high standard and well presented for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items including linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.

Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

Inspect items for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report as necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times.

Track inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.

Follow proper laundry procedures and handling guidelines, including any specific care instructions.

Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is helpful but not essential--training will be provided.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Availability to work flexible hours, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Additional information:

Self-employed Part time - up to 25 hours per week 1 years' experience preferred but not essential

Your own transport is essential as we are not on any bus routes

Pay: up to 12.25 per hour dependent on age and experience
