HOURS:

4-5 days out of 7 including weekend work. Example shift; 11am-7pm/12pm-8pm including weekends

SALARY:

Starting at 12.21 per hour.

About the role:

We are currently seeking to recruit a Laundry driver to join our hardworking, dedicated Laundry department. As part of the role, while mainly based at the Resort you will be required to drive a box lorry to transport laundry items around the Resort and to the other sites in the Collection. You will also be required to assist the department aiding in laundering, cleaning & servicing all laundry including linen from the Spa, hotel bedrooms, a number of restaurants & other sites located in Templepatrick, Belfast City Centre, Limavady and Bangor. The successful candidates must be hardworking and excellent team player!

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Driving the box lorry ensuring loads are secured at all times. Transporting laundry via the lorry to and from and around the resort. Ensuring the vehicle is maintained at all times. Cleaning and servicing all Galgorm Collection laundry as directed by Laundry Manager and as per daily checklists. Understanding wash guide instructions and requirements of the properties of cleaning materials to ensure that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all cleaning machinery. Working within the guidelines of health and safety operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times. To be fully conversant and comply with the health, safety, hygiene, fire, and security regulations and procedures of the laundry department and ensure others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard. Carrying out any other duties as requested by Department heads or Management.

Essential Criteria:

The successful applicant must:

Hold a full, clean driving licence, with at least 1 years of driving experience. Previous experience driving larger vehicles. Able to negotiate the maneuvering of larger vehicles in confined spaces Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Have the ability to prioritise their time and the importance of various tasks, along with great ogranisational skills. Possess sound knowledge of the Resort & local area. Must display a flexible work approach. Be able to multitask and be an excellent team player.

Desirable;

Previous housekeeping/laundry experience (desirable).
