Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards of quality. This position is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Duties

Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a pristine environment. Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as required, ensuring all items are fresh and clean. Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens and garments. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary items such as toiletries and linens. Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, including carpet cleaning and window washing.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items when necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
