We are a Laundry & Drycleaning company that also undertakes textile and furniture restoration for the Insurance Industry.

We are looking initially for an employee who can multi task with some form of experience in undertaking laundry, maybe has tried or interested in learning dry cleaning (must enjoy and be excellent at ironing), has a driving license and is confident to drive the company vans to perform collections / deliveries of customers items and has a passion for cleaning both textiles and furniture items to look like new.

Responsibilities:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to high expected standards

- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines

- Inspect textiles for stains or damage and report any issues to the supervisor

- Be able to iron to a high standard and at a quick pace

- Enjoy the challenge of cleaning furniture and contents back to original condition

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry and retail area

- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed

- Assist with collecting & delivering clean textiles to customers on a daily basis

- Be able to work 1 weekend day per week as we operate 7 days a week / 365 days a year

- Flexible with hours and days as customers needs constantly change

Skills:

- Previous experience working in laundry, drycleaners or similar setting is preferred

- Knowledge of proper laundry procedures and techniques

- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently

- Attention to detail to ensure quality control of textiles and contents

- Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and supplies

- Excellent cleaning standards of cleaning and polishing furniture, glassware, general household items, etc.

- Good communication skills and bubbly personality to interact with customers, team members and supervisors

- Driving license is essential

- Professional manner to represent company

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.42-11.50 per hour
