We are currently seeking an experienced and professional

Laundry Valet

with meticulous attention to detail to join our Linen Room team and take care of our guest laundry and our team uniforms.



The on target earning potential for this role is 32,027 / per annum based on a 37.5 hour contract - comprising a base salary of 27,027, plus a qualified estimate of 5,000 in gratuities and service charge.As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.


The shift patterns for this role are 8am to 4.30pm and 11.30am to 8pm, working 5 from 7 days.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

You'll be responsible for ensuring the laundry service provided to our guests and your colleagues is always of the highest possible standard Efficiently collecting and delivering laundry from and to our guest bedrooms, accurately recording all of the required detail; counting and verifying all items as per the laundry and dry-cleaning lists, recording collection and delivery times and individual messages and requirements On occasion, unpacking of our guest luggage, always in the most courteous and professional manner Checking all items for damage and taking the appropriate action to rectify these issues Expertly pressing laundry of every description with skill and expertise Reporting immediately any guest valuables items found in items sent for laundering Assisting with the loading and unloading of dryers, collation of laundry items and inventories Ordering bespoke items such as kilts hire from our external suppliers, exactly to our guest specifications Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

Experienced in a similar role, you have a fabulous track record in laundry and valet services Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it's the first time Greeting each guest warmly by name, you take time to really listen and understand their individual needs, always exceeding their expectations Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

About gratuities service charge:

Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role It is estimated that in 2025, our part-time employees can expect to receive around 2.50 in addition to their hourly rate.
