This is an exciting opportunity to join us and be part of the Fixed Income Client Portfolio Management team. The primary focus will be on Liability-Driven Investment (LDI) clients.

How you'll spend your time...

Specific responsibility for:

Client Engagement

Strong communicator who can explain complex investment concepts to non-experts Client facing experience, with particular focus on LDI ( Liability-Driven Investment) strategies. Wider fixed income and equity market experience would be an advantage. Will be able to foster business relationships with consultants, independent trustees, & pensions managers. Support the wider team via ownership of pitch messages, materials, RFPs. Help to drive the commercial agenda in terms of branding, PR, sales messages, and thought leadership. Ability to present at seminars and roundtables would be an advantage. Working across Europe - understanding the commercial requirements in different jurisdictions including UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and elsewhere. Associated language skills will be an advantage.
Leadership Responsibilities

Working with fund management colleagues to build LDI and matching solutions. Analysis of current products/mandates and development of new products. Evaluating commercial opportunities with awareness of business risk and profitability. Support the wider fixed income Client Portfolio Management team.
Personal Development

Maintain and develop own investment expertise and market knowledge. Maintain and develop understanding of wider CTI Fixed Income strategies Strong team working ability will be a key requirement. Attend compliance and risk training workshops as required.
Risk Management

Always act with integrity. Maintain awareness of and manage risks in line with client and regulatory requirements. Do not engage in behaviour that might have a negative impact on the proper functioning of the markets. Escalate concerns that could result in poor customer outcomes and/or a negative impact upon market integrity immediately.

To be successful in this role you will have...

Extensive LDI (Liability-Driven Investment) and fixed income experience in a relevant role, such as institutional asset management or investment consulting. CFA Charter holder or an equivalent professional qualification would be preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with a range of audiences. Proven team player. Wide knowledge of institutional investment across the capital markets. Experience in UK and Irish defined benefit pensions, including investment strategy and the client and regulatory environment. Highly numerate with strong Excel skills. Language skills will be an advantage.
