About the Role

We're seeking a

Lead Audio Visual Engineer

to join our team and deliver outstanding AV solutions across national projects. This role requires a strong technical background, a passion for customer service, and the flexibility to work on-site and occasionally away from home. Regular briefings will be held at our Northampton base.

Key Responsibilities

Install and service

LED walls

and

large-format displays

Install and maintain

LoZ and HiZ sound systems

Install and support

video distribution systems

, including

AV over IP

Program and configure

digital sound processors

Deliver comprehensive service and support to client sites, ensuring system integrity and client satisfaction Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with a focus on effective fault-finding and problem-solving Work flexible hours, including weekend, overnight, and travel as required to meet client needs

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in

Commercial AV installations and commissioning

Strong understanding of

audio visual systems

, including sound, video, and control technologies Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Confident communicator, able to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed Comfortable working at height and using hand/power tools Full UK driving licence required
