We're currently seeking an Baristas who genuinely love coffee and are committed to serving perfection every time. Who We Are Looking For:
A minimum of one year of experience leading a team as a Barista.
Passion for coffee and customer service.
Confidence, strong knowledge and proficiency in everything coffee, including being able to independently set up coffee machine and grinders, preparation, including milk texturisation, (preferably) latte art skills and have the ability to coach others. Please note, our machines are NOT push button instant machines.
A friendly personality and brings a positive, can-do attitude to work.
A natural ability to connect with customers.
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team player.
A strong commitment to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
A normal day will be filled with making lots of coffee, supporting the team and making sure customers are kept happy.
Contribute to all aspects of the store operation during your shift, including opening and closing procedures, taking orders, handling transactions and resolving customer inquiries.
Confidently setting up and taking ownership of reporting maintenance requirements for Conti NG-C coffee machine and grinder.
Maintain a clean and organised environment, adhering to all food safety regulations, plus share in clearing tables and cleaning the cafe throughout, and at the end of the day.
Efficiently make quality espresso-based drinks and Matchas.
Replenishing beans, maintaining supplies, cakes and drinks for the counter.
(additional 7-hour paid shift paid at normal hourly rate), the rota will be scheduled at least 1 month in advance.
The role will start as a 3-month FTC with the intention for it to go permanent. Please do not apply if you are only looking for summer work.
