We're a well-established 70-cover cafe known for our fresh breakfasts, seasonal lunches, homemade cakes, and relaxed atmosphere. We're looking for someone who's passionate about great food, enjoys leading by example, and thrives in a bustling daytime kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead day-to-day kitchen operations during your shifts Prepare and cook high-quality breakfasts, lunches, and specials Maintain excellent food safety and cleanliness standards Support junior staff and provide hands-on training Collaborate on menu planning and seasonal specials Ensure smooth service and great communication with front-of-house

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a cook or chef in a cafe, restaurant, or similar kitchen Confident in running shifts and supporting team members Passionate about cooking with fresh, local ingredients Well-organised and reliable under pressure Good communicator and natural team player
