Mathnasium is a global company with 1000 Maths-only learning centres worldwide, which offers both Maths help and enrichment to students through our unique combination of mental, oral, visual, tactile and written techniques. We teach Maths to children for understanding, in a way that makes sense to them! Most importantly we make Maths fun and grow children's confidence.

Want to make a difference in a child's life by passing on a love for Maths? We are currently seeking a Maths Lead Instructor to work with students to achieve mastery of maths. If successful, this role could develop into an Assistant Centre Director position.

Responsibilities:

Inspire and lead a team to deliver the Mathnasium methodology Execute superior customer service, communicating student progress to parents regularly and confidently, resulting in student retention Ensure continued student motivation, progression and mastery To support staff induction, training and continuous professional development

Person Specification

Essential

:

Exceptional Maths skills (A Level Maths or Higher Education qualification) Energetic, fun and confident personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service focus Passion for working with students Ability to professionally interact with students and parents Superb organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred

:

Previous leadership skills and/or experience in a supervisory role Previous educational or tutoring experience

Monday to Saturday Weekend availability

Education:

A-Level or equivalent (required)

Experience:

Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
