Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in addiction and detox services, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and have a thorough understanding of medication administration, management and audit. This new role involves overseeing support staff, ensuring the delivery of safe care, and maintaining compliance with CQC standards. The successful applicant will play a vital part in fostering a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Maintain oversight of medication, clinical standards, risk management and patient safety Coordinate patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress Administer medications accurately in accordance with prescribed protocols Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the clinical setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives Respond promptly to clinical emergencies, providing expert support as required Act as named clinical lead for inspections, audits and regulatory engagement Ensure learning from incidents, audits and complaints is implemented and embedded

Skills

Proven experience in detox and/ or addiction services Proficiency in medication administration, auditing and management Excellent leadership and team management abilities Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound clinical decisions Commitment to regulatory standards

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
