Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Nurse to join our team at Queenswood on a term time only basis. This pivotal role involves leading the running of the medical centre and overseeing the health and wellbeing of our students, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a supportive educational setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the school nursing team to provide comprehensive health services to students. Conduct health assessments and develop individualised care plans for students. Provide first aid and emergency care as needed, ensuring a safe environment. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support student health needs. Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in the UK. Experience in pediatric care or as a school nurse is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.

Term time only salary range is 30,000 - 32,000 per annum
