Lead Nurse
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate the nursing and healthcare team to uphold safe and effective clinical practice across Wellen Court. Work with the Clinical Lead to ensure safe staffing levels and contribute to the on-call rota. Oversee complex assessments, admissions, and discharges, supporting clinical decision-making and care planning. Ensure adherence to NMC guidelines, the Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
Promote a culture of learning and professional development by mentoring and training colleagues. Represent the nursing team at multidisciplinary meetings and external forums. Support the Clinical Lead with audits, supervision, appraisals, and overall service development.
