Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wyedean to join a friendly administrative team, providing an efficient point of contact within our reception.


You will be experienced in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data and exercise discretion at all times. Previous experience within an education setting would be advantageous.


Job overview




To assist in the provision of efficient and effective school administration, including the Sixth Form. Will be required to drive efficiency in the front office. Will distribute work and direct Administration Assistants. Will ensure a high level of professionalism within as first point of contact and be an ambassador for Wyedean's vision and ethos. This post is responsible for overseeing and communication both school and community wide and Sixth Form administration

Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills A high level of verbal and written communication standards Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines

Hours of Work




37 hours per week 7:45am-3:45pm Monday-Friday term time plus 37 hours during INSET day and an additional 74 hours per annum required to manage workloads, evening events and exam days. The post is permanent and pensionable.

Salary




NJC Scale 3-6


Pro rata salary 22,207 - 23,275 per annum


Monthly salary 1,850 - 1,939


FTE salary per annum 24,795 - 25,988


Additional Lead Role allowance 2,426 per annum
