Are you ready to make an impact at a global company? We\'re looking for a LEAD PROJECT MANAGER to hit the ground running in MEDIA CITY, MANCHESTER and you will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of project efforts. You will develop, establish, and maintain project management standards and procedures. You will be responsible for developing the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals, and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project.

Your role will be based in our MEDIA CITY, MANCHESTER OFFICE on a hybrid work schedule.

HERE\'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING
  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships vital to the success of the project, including business owners, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors and key clients.
  • Works closely with IT and business stakeholders to manage governance requirements, project expectations, all aspects of project budget and actual costs, capital, schedule, scope, risks, change management and performance of the project.
  • Works with resource managers to effectively align resources across projects. And provide work direction, leadership, assignment and review of efforts with assigned resources, to maintain the health and performance of each project.
  • Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
  • Communicates project successes, lessons learned and project management recommendations and complies with all Project Management Office (PMO) processes, as well as contributing to their continuous improvement.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
  • Third level IT qualifications and/or relevant project management qualifications.
  • Certification in a project management methodology (e.g. PMP, Prince2, CAPM, Certified Scrum Master) is highly desired.
  • Excellent team leadership skills, with the ability to build a project team that performs and succeeds.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and consult with all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, execute and respond in a timely manner to changes in project or team priorities.
  • Continually seeks ways to improve our ways of working, to help drive higher levels of quality in project delivery.
  • Able to manage multiple small to medium-sized, moderately complex IT projects.
