Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a Lead Shift Technician to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team on one of our projects in London.
The purpose of the role will be to ensure that our operational delivery performance is in line with contract obligations and Building Services business processes. Services to be delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all sites remain compliant.
What you'll do:
Be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of the Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure and have the ability to carry out breakdown maintenance on mechanical & electrical systems/equipment including HV - 11KV
Need to carry out sub-contractor inductions and putting people to work
Assist and cover for the technical services manager when required
Take control of any works requested by the technical services manager through to completion.
Attend reactive calls with contractual SLA
Complete PPMs and update Concept with correct and full details of the task
Have a full understanding of all plant and systems
Be available to cover a 24/7 365 Shift pattern, cover shifts, holidays and sickness - Days/Nights
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and all logbooks/records are kept up to date
What you'll bring to the role:
Qualified in engineering discipline at NVQ level 3 or higher
Electrical experience essential
18th Edition
HV/LV/AP - Desirable
Mechanical Experience - Desirable
Experience of FM service delivery
Sound knowledge of H&S legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employee, customer and client
Ability to supervise and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
Knowledge of Concept CAFM systems preferred
