Are you an experienced Support Worker? Why not take on a role where you can share your experience with others. We are looking to appoint a
Lead Support Worker
to lead by example and provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities.
This role is based in
Manea
(Cambridgeshire) working in a supported living service providing person-centred support to a gentleman and a lady. Why don't you read a little bit about them below:
Our lovely gentleman: "I may seem quiet at first but, boy, just you wait! I am very cheeky and like drinking and eating other people things! I am active and I love the outdoors. My favourite things are sensory lights, my swing and chocolate! I don't like being ignored, being made to wait, or being rushed, but hey who does?! I love spending time with my friends and family and having adventures. I'm looking for someone who is patient, can talk to me using key words and my picture cards so I can understand, is willing to follow me when I need you to, and be ready to have some fun adventures."
Our lovely lady: "I love being a lady of leisure and enjoying the simple things in life. I am a foodie, I love baking and then eating sweet treats, especially if they involve chocolate! You can often find me tucked up in a blanket on the sofa enjoying a film with lots of musical numbers, or going out in the garden or to a cafe. Do you like animals, because I love them, especially cuddling up to my animal soft toys. I'm looking for someone who is happy reading to me, massaging my hands and legs, and can understand when I need a little bit of space to enjoy my own company."
