Montrose Community Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Lead Support Worker
to join our team at our Montrose Connections Dementia Meeting Centre. This rewarding role is ideal for someone with experience supporting older adults and/or those living with dementia, who is committed to making a meaningful difference to people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for members of the Meeting Centre.
Build trusting relationships with members and their families, taking a person-centred approach.
Carry out weekly check-ins with family carers to offer guidance and support.
Manage and coordinate the volunteer rota for the centre.
Attend Meeting Centre Scotland meetings to contribute to best practice.
Arrange home visits where appropriate and support referrals to day care centres or care homes.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for all.
Inspire and empower the team to work with autonomy, fostering a motivated, supportive, and positive workplace culture.

Experienced in working with older adults and/or those living with dementia (desirable).
