Job Title: Lead Trainer



Starting Salary



33- 36k, depending on experience (pro rata)

3 days (22.5 hours per week)

Contract type



Fixed term initially of 12 months, with possibility of extension if financially sustainable. Probationary period of 4 months.

Location



Flexible working. Office-based in St Paul's, Bristol, at least one day per month, but otherwise working remotely. Travel required to deliver training around the UK (expenses paid).

Overview



The

Lead Trainer

will work closely with the Head of Operations and Directors to achieve our strategic priorities and sustain the business. Work will include training delivery (online and in-person) to our clients in workplaces, sports organisations, communities, and Universities around the UK.

The Lead Trainer will take on project coordination for designated clients, including responsibility for logistical arrangements and monitoring and evaluation activities. They will support the day-to-day running of the company, including administrative tasks, supporting freelance trainers, contributing to team meetings, contributing to external communications, and participating in events aligned with our social impact.

Support the operational delivery of projects and activities, delivering a high-quality experience for all the participants and partners, and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Deliverables



Key Activities



Facilitation



Deliver high-quality bystander intervention training that equips people to prevent gender-based harm and create more equal and inclusive workplaces

Provide support and training for other trainers/facilitators

Coordinate reflective practice sessions for Kindling facilitators

Contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality training resources

Contribute ideas to create best practices in facilitation and training delivery

Delivery coordination



Schedule facilitators for training delivery and arrange logistics

Provide administrative support, including client liaison and communication with a range of partners

Support delivery before, during and after training

Work flexibly to resolve problems and cover workloads as appropriate

Partner management



Respond to communications from clients and colleagues

Identify and build relationships and partnerships with organisations to support delivery

Initiate and maintain positive and professional relationships with partners and stakeholders

Ensure requirements around information sharing, feedback and evaluation are met

Effectively network with external stakeholders to develop knowledge, share best practice, and keep up to date with relevant law, policy and campaigns

Event coordination and logistical support



Ensure training activities are appropriately resourced and supported, so that all involved have clear guidance about their roles, responsibilities, and expectations

Ensure facilitators comply with company and client policies, safeguarding procedures and risk assessments

Monitoring and evaluation



Collection of monitoring and evaluation data

Support the development of reports and publications highlighting the impact of our work

Support the completion of evaluations and feedback from training participants

Work with Finance to track expenses, payments, invoices, and budgets

Communications



Communicate complex or challenging information in a manner that fits the audience, with a focus on abuse, gender-based violence, discrimination, and privilege

Collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation and deliver positive outcomes for participants

Ensure professional and timely written and verbal communication with good attention to detail

Represent the company at meetings and events to promote and build new connections

Promote and represent the company through social media

General



Ensure that all activities undertaken on behalf of Kindling Interventions Ltd, externally or internally, are in line with the overall aims and values of the organisation and with policies and procedures

Participate in Continuing Professional Development and other activities as requested

Be responsive, adaptable, and flexible to emerging circumstances within the start-up, including sharing roles and responsibilities across multiple levels of the organisation and taking on tasks out of role as required
