We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead transport Operator to oversee and coordinate operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Lead Operator, you will manage daily activities, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Drive operational excellence by leading a team of operators and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operations. Manage logistics and supply chain activities, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Organise workflow and assign tasks to optimise productivity while maintaining high-quality standards. Utilise Microsoft Outlook and Word for documentation, scheduling, and communication purposes. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership role within a transport environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Word. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles is advantageous. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
