Up to 37,275 , depending on experience

Brackenbury is seeking a Lead RVN to join our friendly and well-established practice in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's passionate about patient care and mentoring others, looking to take that next step in their nursing career with full support and development from a highly experienced regional network.

About the Role



This is a permanent, full-time position. The working hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm No weekends! One bank holiday shift per year (at Hampstead branch)

This totals 42 hours per week.
There is no requirement for out-of-hours cover and no reception duties - allowing our nurses to focus on what they do best.

About You



We are looking for someone who is:

An experienced RVN (minimum 1 year qualified) Highly organised and passionate about clinical standards Ready to step into a team leadership role or already has some leadership experience Interested in supporting junior team members and ideally open to becoming a Clinical Coach in the future
You'll be working alongside a wonderful team including a very experienced Lead CCA and Lead Vet, and you'll be fully supported by the senior leadership team in the region. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference and grow within their role.

Day-to-Day Duties



The role is predominantly surgical with key responsibilities including:

Monitoring anaesthesia and theatre duties Overseeing the daily running of the clinical areas Supporting the wider team with training and clinical coaching (where applicable) Running nurse consults (e.g. weight clinics, diabetes management) Working collaboratively with the vet and CCA team
You'll be hands-on with patient care and will have time to focus on your leadership development in a practice that values growth and teamwork.
