In terms of qualifications, we're looking for:



Minimum of 3 years of experience in Stone Masonry (essential). Minimum of 3 years of experience in Worktop Fitting (essential). A valid Driving Licence (essential). A CSCS qualification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time



Pay dependent on level of experience.



Schedule:



Monday to Friday with optional overtime.

Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fitting techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. This role is essential for ensuring that all installations and repairs meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities



Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the required materials and dimensions. Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, install, and repair structures and fixtures. Perform welding, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed for various projects. Carry out plastering, painting, masonry, and carpentry work to complete installations. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machinery relevant to fitting tasks. Strong skills in carpentry, plastering, electrical work, welding, plumbing, painting, and masonry. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for travel between job sites.
