Leakage Network Analyst

. Role looks to boost customer service, improve water quality, and safeguard Scotland's environment. This seconded role requires a self-driven individual to actively monitor and maintain the water network.


About The Team:




Our Team assess, diagnose, and determine the most appropriate solution to reduce leakage and fully support the delivery of regulatory targets and work to pinpoint leakage with a level of accuracy that delivers a great service for clients.

About You:



This is a pivotal position within the Customer Water Services, Active Leakage Management Team. We're seeking an experienced, customer-oriented, self-motivated individual to become a valuable part of our high-performing crew.


You've got a solid track record of managing your own workload to meet targets and objectives, and you're comfortable working independently, taking ownership of results. You can Plan and prioritise work and are skilled at adapting to shifting priorities. You know your way around a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed diligently.


Teamwork and your communication skills are excellent. You work well with others to achieve common goals, and you're always eager to learn from your peers. When faced with challenges, you're the creative problem solver in the room, using available evidence and information to chart a path forward.


Your Responsibilities:




You'll coordinate contractor workload and ensure field teams receive accurate, up-to-date information to enable safe, timely and efficient delivery of works. You'll be part of a team responsible for keeping tabs on Water Operational Areas and maintaining District Metered Areas, analysing flow and pressure data to reduce leaks within the water network. Proactive approach to assist Scottish Water in achieving regulatory and customer targets, upholding our Health and Safety standards and championing innovation. Embrace and evolve industry best practices and collaborate with various departments across Scottish Water.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:




You've either worked with Water Networks and hydraulics before or have a solid understanding of them. Also, corporate systems like GIS and Flow monitoring systems (flow data from network meters) don't intimidate you, and you know how to interpret them. An in-depth understanding of water networks. Previous experience gained from field work would be beneficial. Analytics and insights expertise, capable of crunching network data and producing reports from numerical data using computer systems and software. Experience coordinating field teams and supporting field teams, ensuring accurate task allocation and information flow. You understand asset operability and repair techniques for water network assets.

Qualifications:




Hold a valid driver's license.
