As our learning coordinator you are the central part of our learning & organisational development team. You will be working independently to support the administration of training events and with the wider learning team to keep everything running efficiently. This means juggling priorities and demands of a busy day to day role with lots of variation in tasks. Working remotely from home with a small team based all over the UK you will always feel connected because you will attend a number of virtual meetings daily as well as joining virtual drop-ins to socialise and travelling to in person team meetings for the day approximately every other month (your travel and if required accommodation will be funded for this).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising a schedule of learning activities using our Learning Management System (LMS), zoom and calendars
  • Liaising with trainers and venues to book learning events
  • Managing bookings and recording attendance on individual learning records
  • Sharing course information pre and post learning events
  • Processing applications for apprenticeships
  • Preparing basic data reports using templates and sharing these with key stakeholders
  • Promoting courses via a range of communications channels to increase bookings and attendance
  • Managing the shared email account for the learning team, answering basic queries from customers and escalating to colleagues where needed
  • Preparing purchase orders, processing invoices and maintaining an up to date records of transactions and commitments
  • Ordering stationary, equipment and supplies for the team
About You

You will need excellent communication skills and be confident to build relationships and connect with others inside and outside of your team. The role is busy each day and working from home remotely you will need to have great organisational skills to manage a wide range of tasks and maintain efficient systems and processes. Sometimes if there is a big event - the ability to re-prioritise your workload and chip in together to get the job done is essential.
For this role you will need to be confident in using a range of IT systems, managing spreadsheets and keeping digital folders of documents organised and up to date. Experience of working in a learning and development or HR environment, using an LMS and administration of finance would be an advantage.
