Learning and Skills are a dynamic team within the Education, Schools and Inclusion service. We deliver learning opportunities to the most vulnerable residents in Gateshead, provide apprenticeships to over 400 businesses, and create project opportunities through external funding to help move people nearer to the labour market.

About the role...

We're looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Learning and Skills Advisor - Sales and Digital Marketing. You'll play a key role in promoting our provision to learners and employers through a range of marketing channels, helping us meet ambitious engagement and recruitment targets.



You'll be responsible for identifying, contacting and recruiting learners and employers using telephone, digital and face-to-face marketing strategies. You'll create, monitor and adapt digital and non-digital campaigns, including social media adverts, website content, and promotional materials tailored to specific audiences using demographic data.



You'll be confident using customer relationship management software and ad management systems to record and analyse marketing activity. You'll also support operational staff with information and queries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our procedures.



With a strong understanding of digital marketing and sales techniques, you'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You'll have experience designing content plans, using Facebook and Google Ads and Analytics, updating our websites using template-based software, and designing digital flyers and graphics.



You'll have a good level of English and maths, a Level 2 apprenticeship in a related area or equivalent, and be working towards a Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification. Most importantly, you'll be customer-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow with us.
