Key responsibilities

Lead the creation of our entire learning portfolio

, from CPD-accredited training courses in technical fields like Construction, Compliance, and Retrofitting to action-based micro-learning content and performance support tools. This includes

managing the full development lifecycle

: defining timelines, storyboarding and scripting high-impact media, onboarding and directing subject matter experts (SMEs), managing the interaction between AI and human centred processes, and running the final quality assurance process.

Influence and manage cross-functional teams

, including the Learning Product Lead, the wider product and sales teams, and subject matter experts, to develop materials that deliver

meaningful competency improvements and outcomes

for learners and businesses. Work with the Learning Product lead to

develop and deliver our Training and Product strategy

. Contribute pedagogical insights and use innovative learning approaches to drive forward our training and product offer. Using a data-driven approach,

manage the collection and analysis of learner and client feedback

to continuously innovate and ensure our content is engaging, accurate, and industry-leading. Be our

internal champion for AI adoption and best practices in learning

, translating advanced pedagogical principles into technical rule sets for our content engine and building buy-in for this new, harmonised approach across the business.

What you'll bring

Curriculum design expertise:

5+ years of experience applying backward design principles and working with competency frameworks to create measurable learning outcomes and aligned assessments for learning and skills development programmes. Demonstrable expertise in designing and building interactive, learning and training within common authoring tools (Articulate 360).

Learning theory expertise:

A deep understanding of current and emerging trends in learning theory. Ability to use best practices to inform strategy and content development.

AI & technical literacy:

A solid knowledge of generative AI and workflow automation tools. The ability to translate pedagogical rules into a technical rule set that can be executed by an AI machine. Solid understanding and application of prompt engineering principles for effective interaction with AI models. A passion for staying informed on emerging AI tools and technologies, especially in generative AI, workflow automation, and data processing.

Multi-format learning development experience:

A strong ability to create action-oriented micro-learning that targets specific skills. Strong creative and technical skills in scripting and storyboarding for audio and video production.

Influence & leadership:

The ability to communicate convincingly with peers and senior stakeholders to champion the direction of Greenworkx learning content. Experience leading cross-functional teams to build consensus and get buy-in for new processes.

Project management:

Honed skills in leading content development, managing risks and time, developing course overviews and storyboards.

Data driven approach to design:

Proven experience in using data to inform content design and improvement.

Nice to have

Additional experience designing for technical disciplines such as Construction, Building Pathology, Retrofit, Climate and Energy Efficiency and Energy Advice. Qualifications or experience in role-related areas such as instructional design, education, or Learning and Development. Qualifications or experience in topic-related areas such as Construction, Building Pathology, Retrofit, Climate and Energy Efficiency and Energy Advice.

Benefits

Compensation:

45-55k salary with early employee equity

Time off:

28 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays per year
