This role holder will work closely with the People Manager and other members of the HR team to support the learning and development of colleagues at Step One.
The role holder will be expected to develop and provide training sessions (mostly bite size employee policy based) and help to administer attendance of these and of third party provided courses.
This role has arisen to provide assistance with this important function, following the review and updating of various employee and operational policies, and while the organisation undergoes a period of change. There is potential for the role to be extended or become permanent.
Duties and responsibilities:
Create and deliver, engaging training sessions for colleagues, tailored to Step One policies and processes. These are to supplement external leadership and elearning platforms
Coordinate attendance, bookings and feedback on individual training sessions. Ensure all records of attendance are kept to to date and follow up lapsed training. Prepare training reporting as part of HR KPI reporting.
Support Apprentice learners in their studies and liaise with external providers in tripartite meetings to ensure they have support in their learning journey at SOC.
Lead on developing learning & development initiatives, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and cultural change.
Supporting the People Manager and senior leadership team, to provide a learning & development framework and strategy that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
Complete any other tasks or responsibilities as required.

Experience of providing and developing internal training courses
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
