Stockport Grammar Junior School is seeking to appoint a Learning Development Assistant to provide support across the Junior School under the direction of the Learning Development Coordinator.
The key tasks in the role include providing in class support to individuals and small groups of pupils, assisting with the pastoral welfare of the pupils and supporting the teacher in the management of the class and resources.
This is a full time, term time only role. Consideration will be given to strong candidates who wish to request shorter working hours.
The School offers a competitive salary and enrolment into a generous contributory pension scheme. In addition, employees who have children in the School are eligible for a percentage remission of fees. Lunch is provided free of charge during term time and all staff can use the School's sports facilities, which includes use of the swimming pool.
