We are currently seeking a caring and committed
Learning Support Assistant
to join a welcoming primary school in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in their learning and development, working within a nurturing and inclusive setting.
About the Role:
You will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop key skills. The role may involve working 1:1 with children with additional needs, as well as providing general classroom support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pupils with learning activities and classroom engagement
Provide 1:1 support for children with SEN or additional needs
Help with emotional regulation and social development
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
