You will champion our ambition to be a leader in the transport sector on all things people development and training.


You'll lead the development and embed our management, leadership, and executive development programmes that build capability, drive consistency, and create high-performing teams.

Key accountabilities will include:



Support the delivery of the Learning and Development strategy. Lead the design and delivery of leadership training programmes that build capability, confidence, and consistency across the business. Lead on Apprenticeships and the Further Education Policy, including effective management of the Apprenticeship Levy and broader business needs. Contribute to cross-business initiatives within the Keolis Group, sharing best practice and driving consistency. Lead impactful training for managers, bringing confidence and credibility to every session. Partner with TfGM to lead people development initiatives and share best practice across the Bee Network. Stay ahead of industry trends, attend networking events, and champion innovation and continuous improvement. Be a trusted leader, empowering your team, driving accountability, and creating opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the L&D leadership team on key initiatives including wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion. Manage and support the development of eLearning content and roadmap, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing compliance with organisational requirements. We want you to love data, know it, assess performance & adapt our training to be the best we can be, covering eLearning, learner satisfaction, and training attendance. Develop & implement a talent mapping program to identify talent, providing pathways for development. Achievement of our contractual obligations and achievement of Good Employment Charter member status. Work in partnership with the people leadership team, getting involved in key initiatives such as wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and much more.

What you'll bring:



CIPD level 5 (desirable) or relevant field related experience An L&D qualification such as Certificate in L&D or equivalent Evidence of designing and delivering successful management development programs Strong experience of the full training cycle (TNA, Design, Deliver, Evaluation and Follow Up) at all levels Experience managing a team, creating development opportunities and driving accountability Evidence of best practice and industry knowledge Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong leadership skills to support your team and drive engagement and motivation Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills to drive results Passionate about training, innovation and overcoming barriers and driving change Strong relationship building & stakeholder management focus Flexible approach, you can adapt to your situation to get the best results Results focused with a passion for delivering projects on time and working as part of an awesome team Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
