Overview





An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anchor Group Services as Learning & Engagement Manager, leading the next phase of development for our in-house learning function, the Anchor Academy.



Following a period of significant growth, we are looking for a proactive and experienced learning professional to drive forward our learning, development and engagement agenda, ensuring our people have the skills, confidence, and motivation to deliver exceptional service across our national operations.



This is a hands-on, field-based role that combines the strategic oversight of company-wide learning and engagement with direct programme design and delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR and the operations team to embed a strong learning culture and positive employee experience, supporting our continued success and growth.



A company car will be provided, and you should be based within the Northwest, with flexibility to travel nationally when required.

Main Responsibilities

:



Lead the design and delivery of the Annual Learning and Engagement Plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs. Design, develop and deliver engaging, compliant and role-specific learning programmes across security, cleaning and parking divisions. Work closely with Directors, Managers and HR to identify skills gaps, development needs and engagement challenges, implementing targeted learning and engagement solutions. Oversee company induction and onboarding to ensure consistent standards and timely induction of all new starters. Promote a culture of continuous learning, development and employee engagement aligned to Anchor's values. Lead the ongoing development and growth of the Anchor Academy as a recognised and revenue-generating learning brand. Deliver and support licence-linked, accredited and vocational qualifications (e.g. SIA, First Aid, Mental Health First Aid). Support the development of blended learning solutions, including digital, e-learning and video-based content, maximising technology and available AI functionality Support management capability through coaching, mentoring and development programmes.
