What you would be doing

As a key member of the FoE Education Systems and Delivery Team, you will support the evaluation and implementation of a new university-wide Learning Management System. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Imperial, contributing to process development, user stories and system feedback as part of a high-profile digital transformation project.
The purpose of the role is to support the adoption of a new LMS platform that meets the evolving needs of Imperial College London. The role holder, as part of the wider project team, will play a critical role in driving the project forward, engaging with staff within the Faculty of Engineering and stakeholders across the University.
This role is crucial for enhancing the learning experience for students, streamlining and standardising processes and supporting our staff in delivering a high-quality educational experience for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as non-degree learners.
What we are looking for

Essential requirements
Degree or equivalent, preferably digital education or technology-related
Experience of using digital technology to support education, ideally in a university environment.
Demonstrable interest and enthusiasm for the use of digital technology in education
Experience of teaching / training others in the use of digital systems or software
Experience designing and coordinating user experience testing and evaluations
Experience of supporting or configuring a Learning Management System for an educational institution
Understanding of project management techniques and methods
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate
complex information effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
Analytical skills, with the proven ability to understand, interpret and explain
complicated data
Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to multi-task
Team player, able to work collaboratively across team boundaries to achieve a
common organisational goal, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of stakeholders in other disciplines and functions

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment until July 2026 and secondments will be
considered. This position is based at Imperial's South Kensington Campus.
