The Health and Social Care department is making strong strides forward in providing technical and skilled education to our future health care sector workers. Our provision in T Levels and adult programmes is growing from strength to strength and we seek to appoint someone with the clinical skills and biology knowledge to help move the department to the next stage of development.
We are looking for a full time individual (or two part time) with a clinical background who is able to share experience, drive ambition within our students and provide practical skill training for our technical and higher education courses. As a passionate and enthusiastic practitioner, you will support skills and technical development of students ready for industry placements, practical assessments and progression to become the health care workforce of the future.
The ideal candidate will have relevant health related industry experience and be qualified to Level 4 in a relevant subject area. A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don't have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.
At Preston College our vision is 'to transform lives through education', and we take great pride in supporting all of our learners to achieve the qualifications they need, alongside the development of technical skills and knowledge that employers and universities are looking for.
