Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to educating students and fostering an engaging learning environment. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, alongside the ability to lead and inspire students in their academic pursuits. The Lecturer will contribute to the development of course materials and engage in innovative teaching practices that enhance student learning.

Duties

Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in accordance with the curriculum. Prepare and develop educational materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and feedback, providing constructive guidance for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives. Stay current with developments in the field of study and integrate relevant IT tools into teaching methodologies. Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and professional development opportunities.

Experience

A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field. Proven experience in teaching or lecturing at a higher education level is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership qualities that inspire students and colleagues alike. Proficiency in using IT for educational purposes, including virtual learning environments. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective teaching and interaction with students.
