About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding individual to help contribute towards our CIMSPA endorsed undergraduate and postgraduate sports coaching curriculum. We have a rich history of developing sports coaches working at all levels.

  • Contribute to our sports coaching curriculum with a specific focus on practitioner development, at undergraduate and postgraduate.
  • Demonstrate a clear skills set, and knowledge base focused on coach development.
  • Aspire to ensure the continuous improvement of the student experience and have clear appreciation of industry application and impact.
  • Demonstrate a passion for coach development and evidence practical coaching skills.
About You
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification and experience of the applied sports coaching industry.
  • Higher education teaching qualification/professional recognition or commitment to complete one within one year.
  • As a specialist in sports coaching and practitioner development, experience of working in applied contexts enables you to contribute to teaching and learning activities across a range of general sports modules.
  • Committed to creating high-quality student experience, through a focus on excellence within teaching and learning. A record of active research and knowledge exchange is welcomed.
  • Appreciation of the connectivity between theory and practice/ability to foster industry partnerships to develop partnership for both student placements, staff and student project work.
  • Demonstrate a record of active scholarship and willingness to continue to personally and professionally develop.
